Have you gotten the new issue of House Beautiful September 2011 yet? I did! It's the Art of Color issue. Gorgeous and stunning doesn't even begin to describe it! So many fabulous designs, rooms and choices of color that I was oohing and ahhing to each turn of the page!
Martyn Lawerence-Bullard has done it again with yet another amazing design! Throughout the entire design he brought black and white to a whole new level while adding pops of divine color.
This study was reconfigured as a bar and lounge with a masculine, neutral palette. With a vintage zebra rug, safari photographs and a Moroccan style side table this room gives the feeling of a well traveled owner.
The all white kitchen is stunning with the hints of green in the art, stools and 1940's chairs in the breakfast area. It's cheerful and fun for any family and the hanging pot rack is to die for.
And this outdoor seating area actually makes me want to be outside despite the 3 digit degree weather we are dealing with right now in Houston. Once fall arrives this would be the perfect place to entertain guests! The black and white striped couches are so elegant with the same color scheme in the pillows but with an array of fabulous patterns. Just imagine all the wonderful evening get-togethers centered around this area!
